Some of the distinctive and unique features represented this year will include architectural designs encompassing one-of-a-kind accents, completely automated homes, homes incorporating philosophies of green building with the use of proven construction techniques and materials, innovative home entertainment systems, garden courtyards, and infinity pools and spas.

Gifted interior designers, architects, and craftsmen will enhance each home with meticulous craftsmanship including hand crafted furniture style cabinetry, exquisite finish carpentry details, and the creative use of building materials and unique lighting fixtures to create a beautiful ambience. Special touches to every home enhances each visitor's viewing experience.
Landscapes Beyond Compare...
The St. George Area Parade of Homes is blessed with an unequaled natural environment to showcase these homes including scenic golf courses with incredible views, black rock and red rock cliffs, azure blue skies and pinion pine forests, providing inviting backgrounds and enhancing the feeling of each home existing as a quiet oasis meant for comfort and pleasure.

The southern Utah area has mild, low humidity winters with over 300 sunny days per year! Many Parade visitors like to come to sunny southern Utah to escape from the cold, snowy, winter weather.
  
  Event Schedule & Location


Schedule: February 17-26, 2006- Homes are open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Twenty-five homes are located in a variety of communities set among breathtaking landscapes in Washington County, Utah. The St. George Area Parade of Homes is a scattered-site show. The time required to tour all 25 homes in the Parade (at a comfortable pace, taking rest stops, etc.) is two days. However, visitors may choose to visit any number of homes on display and in any order. Visitors will receive a beautiful Parade magazine which includes a map and directions to each home with a ticket purchase. Signs are strategically placed along the roads to direct the attendees in the self-guided tour to the homes. Visitors may choose to follow the signs or take-off on their own in the order of their choice.

  
  Lodging & Relocation


Book your lodging accommodations as early as possible! The Parade of Homes begins on President's Day Weekend and rooms sell out quickly. For lodging accommodations, click here. Remember, this is a very popular event...rooms fill-up in advance very quickly. Book your rooms early!

  
  Tickets


All tickets are $10 each for admittance to the homes. There are no senior or children discounts. Children three years and older are required to have a ticket. Children under three years must be carried by an adult. No strollers or carriages are allowed in the homes. Tickets may be used anytime during the 10 day period. The ticket entitles each visitor admittance to each home once during the 10 day event. The ticket has an additional benefit allowing one repeat admittance to one home of your choice. Visitors must purchase a new ticket to re-enter additional homes. The Parade of Homes accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, checks (with check guarantee) and cash.

Tickets will be available for purchase beginning Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 5:00 pm. They may be purchased at Lin's Markets - Service Desks located in St. George, Hurricane, Cedar City, Richfield, and Overton, Nevada or center court of Red Cliffs Mall in St. George, Utah. The ticket entitles each visitor admittance to each of the homes once during the 10 day event.

Individuals visiting the homes will be asked (at the discretion of the builder) to remove their shoes upon entering. It is recommended that comfortable, easy-to-remove shoes be worn while visiting the homes.

  
  Exhibitions

  Designer Sale


As you tour the homes featured in the 2006 Parade you will notice a sign at the entrance of each home informing visitors if any or all of the items (furnishings, accessories, etc) displayed are for sale by decorators. All items must remain in the homes until the close of the show on February 26, but may be purchased during the entire run of the 2006 St. George Area Parade of Homes.

  
  Virtual Tour CD-ROMs


Many times after you view the Parade homes, you forget about a certain decorator feature you liked, or a design idea, or a certain floorplan. We have a solution to the problem. Virtual Tour CD-ROMs will be available for sale during the show at ticket sale locations. View the Parade homes in the comfort of your own home, at a high speed, anytime you want. Virtual Tour CD-Roms include four virtual tours and twelve photographs of the home and cost $10 each. We can mail the CD to you for $13 each.
